Maryam Saeed

Maryam leads Sardine's international growth as Global Head of Expansion, having previously served as General Manager for the Middle East and Africa. She brings over 20 years of experience across retail and commercial banking, payments, and risk.

Before Sardine, Maryam was Chief Risk Officer at Visa Canada, where she sat on the Visa Canada Corporation Board, and held senior commercial banking leadership roles at HSBC Canada and Standard Chartered Bank. She was named one of Canada's ""Top 50 Best Executives"" in 2023 by the Globe and Mail.
