Zahid Shaikh

Zahid Shaikh is the Co-founder and Chief Product Officer at Sardine where he leads overall product strategy for the company’s AI Risk Platform for fraud and compliance.

Before Sardine, Zahid was a product leader at Revolut, Uber, and PayPal, where he built large-scale risk and security products used by millions of customers worldwide. At PayPal, he created the Device Intelligence product, which reduced fraud losses by more than $40 million annually, and was recognized as PayPal’s Top Inventor in 2016 with five patents approved for filing. At Uber, he led the Trusted Identity team, developing device intelligence and login security systems, and at Revolut he oversaw the U.S. launch of its Crypto Buy/Sell product.

Earlier in his career, Zahid held technical and engineering roles at Verizon, Chase, and Hitachi, giving him a deep technical foundation that continues to shape his product leadership. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering from the University of Mumbai and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Software Technology from the Centre for Development of Advanced Computing.
